E-motional Anatomy Chart

”Behind every cronically tense muscle, there is a secret..”
Marion Rosen

WHAT IS IT?This unique poster is a comprehensive tool, not only for body therapists and psychotherapists to have on their clinic’s wall, but also for all people who are interested in learning the language of their emotions through the body.

The main principles are:

•The body, with it’s parts and organs is our expression vehicle in life.

•There is a constant movement of feelings and emotions in the body which are responded by changes in breathing and tension in the muscles.

•This flow, and the blocks in this flow are the sum total of our emotional structure, form and posture.

•The physical function of the body part can be “translated” into the emotional function and become understood.

FOR WHO?
All students and therapists in the fields of:
• Body oriented psychotherapy
• massage
• Rosen Method
• Gestalt therapy
• psycosynthesis
• Bioenergetic analysis
• Yoga
• Feldenkrais
• all people interested in bodymind connection
The poster will not supply you with cold facts but with a simple way of looking at the body-mind connection. It’s a tool for understanding your/the client’s symptoms and to deepen any therapeutic process and dialogue.

ABOUT US…
AND WHY WE MADE IT

ITZHAK DERY
is a massage and a Rosen Method practitioner who works in the field since 2003.
He searched for an interactive tool that would increase self awareness in himself and his clients and would gather all the information into one source.
When he failed to find one, he made one himself.
The knowledge gathered here can be related to the lineage of Wilhelm Reich, Alexander Lowen and many others. It is logic, simple and global.

THERESE TONNING
is an artist in fine arts, educated in the National College of Arts in Norway. She is a natural born healer and an autodidact.
The meeting between the two created the right conditions for this poster to be born.

The poster size is 50x70 cm, Glossy paper.
